About
Priyanka
Painter, printmaker, and sketch artist working from a small studio. Each piece is handmade, signed, and shipped insured — never mass-produced, never printed on demand.
Statement
My practice is unhurried. A canvas may sit untouched for weeks while a sketchbook fills with the same subject seen a dozen ways. I work between quiet still lives, sun-warmed landscapes, and small studies of light — finishing only when a piece feels willing to leave the studio.
The prints in this shop are pulled in small editions from my own originals; the sketches are one of a kind. Each work ships with a unique certificate of authenticity bearing its own code.
The studio
A north-facing room with a long table and too many jars of brushes. I work primarily in oils and acrylics, with detours into pen-and-ink and graphite when a subject asks for it. Prints are produced on archival cotton-rag paper using pigment inks, then signed and numbered by hand.
Every piece is finished, photographed, and packed in the same room. Turnaround is slow on purpose — the work is meant to be lived with for a long time, so it's worth a few extra days at the start.
