I'm Priyanka Karnam — a painter and printmaker working from a small studio in Boston. My work is rooted in meditation practice and draws from traditions I grew up with in South India.

Every piece starts with hand-ground pigments and hand-stretched paper. The originals take weeks to complete; the print runs are small (usually under 100 signed) and never repeated.

I ship globally. All originals come with a certificate of authenticity signed and dated. Prints are shipped flat in acid-free sleeves.

Approach

I don't produce for volume. If a piece isn't ready, it doesn't ship. If you want something specific — a size, a color palette, a commission for a particular room — I take on 4-6 commissions a year.
